Frequently Asked Questions

Will Illinois Valley Web Design scan and upload my pictures?
Yes, but during the trial period we will only add a few, so you can get a better idea how things will look. Once you've ordered a site from us and added all your listings, then mail your pictures to us and we will scan and upload them to your Web Site free of charge. Make sure each picture is marked with your Web Site address, User ID, password and the appropriate listing number to avoid any errors or confusion.

Will Illinois Valley Web Design design a logo for my agency? And what will it cost?
Yes. Send us a couple different copies of your logo, along with any advertising materials you use, and let us give it a try at no extra charge to you. If we can't give you the look you want, we can refer you to a list of internet graphic artists with reasonable rates.

Are there any design or set up fees?
There is a one time set up fee of $49.95. And if you don't already have a domain name, there will be an additional $30 fee for domain name registration, which is good for two years.

How long do I have to sign up for?
The agreement is on a month by month basis. You can cancel at anytime.

Is my Web Site going to be full of unsightly and unwanted ads?
Definitely not.

Can I move the Web Site to another hosting company?
No. We retain ownership of the Web Site. You are just leasing it from Illinois Valley Web Design.

I already have a Web Site.  Can you just add a search page with all the back end maintenance?

How many of my listings can I put in my Web Site before the price goes up?
You are allotted 250 megabytes of web space and by keeping the file size of your pictures at 50k or less, you should have enough room for at least 500 of your listings, if not more. If you find that this is not enough, we can double the amount of space you have for an extra $15/Mo.

How hard is it to set up and change my Web Site?
It's very easy to do. Just fill out the forms. There is no software to download and no programming languages to learn.

How do I begin setting up my sample Web Site?
When you sign up for a sample Web Site, you are sent an e-mail with the path of your Web Site. Just click on the link provided in that e-mail.  Once you get to the log-on page, fill in your User ID and password and you're on your way. Then just go through the steps to setting up your site. If you make any mistakes or want to change things around later, you can always repeat any step in the process. However,  we urge you to follow the steps in the order that they are because some steps require information you entered in previous steps.

I don't like any of the layouts for your Web Sites, can I make some suggestions and get something that is custom made?
Yes, to an extent. Point us in the right direction of what you would like your Web Site to be like and we will see what we can do for you.
